YellowBay Ditch Repair – The YellowBay ditch is a major source of clean drinking water and irrigation for many cherry orchards on flathead lake. After decades of deferred maintenance and erosion the ditch is in need of repairs and upgrades.

Better the farm is a young organization founded in 2017 to replace what was lost when the cherry checkoff program was abolished. Although initially focused on cherry growers in Montana, we believe our ideas, programs, and events will translate well to other members of the small farming community in Montana.
